DESCRIPTION
5S is a method of workplace organization that aims to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity. It consists of five steps: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
- In the Sort phase, unnecessary items are removed from the workspace, leaving behind only what is essential.
- Set in Order focuses on organizing and tagging items so they can be easily located and accessed.
- Shine involves regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Standardize, establish consistent procedures and practices to maintain improvements made.
- Finally, Sustain focuses on creating a culture of continuous improvement by regularly monitoring and maintaining the 5S system.
TARGET GROUP
