DESCRIPTION

Value Stream Mapping is one of the most common methods of identifying and eliminating waste and inefficiencies in a process, in the flow of materials, information and resources. The map represents the entire process, from the initial request of the customer to the delivery of the final product or service and captures three situations of the customer: the current state, the ideal state and the future state of the process.

The key ideas of this concept are: business process analysis, identification of waste and inefficiencies, visual representation of the process and improvement of value stream.
